Paige Shiver is a freshman at the University of Michigan, where she is pursuing a major in Literature and a minor in Journalism. Recognized early for her sharp analytical mind and her instinctive feel for narrative, Paige brings a rare blend of academic rigor and creative energy to both her studies and her work as an emerging writer. She credits her love for storytelling to a childhood filled with books, spirited family debates, and teachers who encouraged her to look beyond the surface of every text.

At Michigan, Paige is deeply engaged in the university’s vibrant literary and media communities. Mission Statement

The mission of Paige Shiver’s work, both as a Literature major and Journalism minor, is to explore how stories shape the way individuals understand themselves, their communities, and the broader world. Paige seeks to bridge the traditions of literary study with the immediacy of modern journalism.
